Class Curriculum:

1. Communication & Charting skills

(HIPPA, Safety Skills, Aseptic Tech., Observational skills etc.)

2. Midwifery

(History, Politics, Around The World, Apprentices)

3. Policies & Procedures

(State Laws, Setting up a practice, Taxes etc)

4. Well Woman Care

(Family planning, Unplanned Pregnancies, Breast Exam, PAP Tests, Emotional issues, Culture Collection etc)

5. Herbs & Alternative Medicine

(Research and Data collection, Alternative med. in Relation to Midwifery, Herbs safety and use etc)

 

About the Course:

• To be held in SC every few Months (lodging included)

• See calendar on MIDWIFETOBE yahoo group

• Can be done in your area if enough students are interested

• $100 per class

• May be offered as web class (live online)

• 10 hrs per class 2/3 credit each

• Open to all Midwife students and Midwives

• Taught by Lisa Aman, LM since 1985 (owner of MTB )
